Dear Ohio State Bitcoin Group,
My name is Andreas Kitsios and I am the VP of Digital Strategy at the University of Nicosia, the largest private university in Cyprus.
Our university has recently launched the first Master’s Degree in Digital Currency in the world and is offering the first course in the MSc, “Introduction to Digital Currencies”, as a free MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) that is available to anyone around the world interested in learning more about digital currencies.
The MOOC will be taught by Bitcoin experts, including Mr. Andreas Antonopoulos and Mr. Antonis Polemitis, and will cover both a technical overview of decentralized digital currencies like Bitcoin, as well as attempt to put them in a broader economic, legal and financial context.
The MOOC start date is May 15, 2014, for the initial session. Future sessions will be offered throughout the year, including in accelerated formats.
I believe the members of your group would be interested in attending this free online course and I would appreciate it if you could share this information with them, along with the following links to learn more about the details of the program and course:
